Trouble Shooting

At Mac Aid we offer three distinct troubleshooting services:

  • Onsite Support Services
  • In-house/ Carry In Services
  • Remote Support Services

Onsite Support Services

Mac Aid primarily attends onsite. Offering face to face support services in your working environment, with all relevant peripherals and networks.

Working on one computer or many, an onsite technician can quickly resolve issues and can provide a fresh perspective on the current infrastructure.

Our technicians are friendly, well presented, experienced and knowledgeable and can solve your business’ IT problems efficiently.

Mac Aid travels on-site anywhere in the Melbourne Metropolitan Area. Our normal hours of business are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm. We can also accommodate requests out of business hours. Please call the office to discuss this option.

In-house/ Carry In

Our carry in service can provide, a more suitable and cost-effective method depending upon the issue/s requiring attention. This service is best suited when the hardware needs to be repaired or troubleshooting the issue requires waiting times such as completing diagnostics, copying data or installing software.

Should you require an in-house job, please bring your machine into our office, located near Richmond.

Remote Support Services

Remote support services can be convenient and are often subject to better waiting times and a lower cost resolution. This is a great solution for businesses near and far. Providing support is then only a quick phone call away.

Prior to calling us, ensure you download the Mac Aid remote tool. Located at the top right-hand corner of the page, you will see a grey spanner to click through on or simply click on the link at the bottom of the page. With this screen sharing application, it allows our technicians to see and control your computer. Thus resolving issues remotely with your help over the phone.

Apart from providing daily support, routine tasks such as backup, monitoring and maintenance tasks can be completed remotely. Enabling cost-effective confidence in your IT environment.

Customers find it of great use to have such a valuable IT resource on hand for their staff. Whether it is to assist internal IT, cover leave or lead the projects and implementations.
